"The first week I started the regime the change was amazing. My energy returned, my skin glowed, the aches and pains and heat (inflammation) in my joints went away (almost all), the gastric reflux stopped. People commented on the change in me. I was amazed at how different and positive I felt. So thank you so much." Susie, Plymouth

"I can't speak highly enough of that man, he changed my life". Doreen, Worcester

Cancer

Cancer is the Latin word for crab which describes the way that cancer can spread.

Cancer is possibly the most horror and fear evoking word in any society as it conjures up images of cells growing wild and out of control, invading and eating away at our tissues and organs.

The treatment of cancer, the holy grail of Western Medicine for over 200 years, has not helped dispel these ideas or even temper them in that they include cutting (surgery), burning (radiotherapy) and poisoning (chemotherapy) in a relentless ‘war’ on an evil ‘enemy’ with a good measure of ‘suffering’ and ‘bravery’, making the patient a ‘victim’ and a ‘hero’ in the making.

The truth is that as with any other condition or disease, cancer is the result or outcome of a process which has gone awry and it affects the entire body although it may only show itself in a selected part.

We all make between 1500 and 2500 cancer cells every day. These rogue cells are recognised and duly ‘mopped up’ by a sophisticated group of white blood cells aptly called natural killer cells or NK cells from our hard working immune system. Should our immune system become compromised in any way, the ability of these NK cells to recognise and destroy cancer cells is diminished and allows the rogue cells to increase in numbers unchecked until the balance is disturbed and the condition of cancer prevails.

Four factors can alter the normal DNA of cells to become rogue DNA resulting in a cell becoming cancerous: viruses, chemicals, toxic metals and radiation. Once altered, cancer cells need a growth factor to increase their numbers and it is believed that one of the most potent growth factors is that used by parasites to promote the rapid development of hatchlings to adults. Parasites are present in even the healthiest of individuals but they need to be kept in check on a regular basis.

Naturally and as with any condition heredity, or our genetic susceptibility plays a role in cancer but it is not the doom and gloom outcome it is made out to be since the expression or otherwise of all genes, including cancer genes, is dependent on other factors which are completely under our own control. These factors include diet, lifestyle, drugs and emotions; all of which also influence our immune system.

It stands to reason therefore that the best way to prevent and treat cancer is to ensure that our immune system is maintained in tip-top condition.

An Integral Health DNA Hair Test not only can identify the epigenetic factors which possibly give rise to cause/causes of an imbalance in the body and the potential for signs and symptoms of disease; it is also able to highlight the nutrient and lifestyle recommendations specific for each unique individual, helping to ensure they are able to achieve optimum health - naturally.
