"The first week I started the regime the change was amazing. My energy returned, my skin glowed, the aches and pains and heat (inflammation) in my joints went away (almost all), the gastric reflux stopped. People commented on the change in me. I was amazed at how different and positive I felt. So thank you so much." Susie, Plymouth

"I can't speak highly enough of that man, he changed my life". Doreen, Worcester

Bile, a product of cholesterol, may become crystallised around bacteria or parasites in the ducts of the liver. These crystals grow as they pass down into the gallbladder where they become mineralised into gallstones. The larger stones may block the exit of the bile into the duodenum or small intestine where it is used for digestion of fat, giving symptoms of pain and nausea. Gallstones also cause infection of the lining of the gallbladder, cholecystitis, which accounts for the symptoms of temperature and pain typical of many infections.

Among the many and varied causes of gallstones are gastrointestinal disorders such Crohn's Disease and IBS, parasitic infections such as liver flukes, alcohol, medicinal drugs such as HRT, the Pill, antibiotics, anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs and aspirin), antidepressants and cholesterol reducing drugs, especially the statins.

Conventional treatment revolves around surgical removal of the gallbladder or pulverisation (breaking up) of the gallstones using high frequency sound (ultrasonic) waves, ultrasonography.
A more holistic and natural approach to dealing with gallstones is to soften them with Epsom salt which also helps to dilate or enlarge the bile ducts and allow their passage into the small intestine. This must be preceded by dealing with the parasites and bacteria which act as the primary seeds on which the bile crystals first form. Following removal of gallstones, the causes of the original imbalance must be attended to. It must also be ensured that all the necessary nutritional support is in place to prevent a recurrence of gallstone formation, paying particular attention to daily intake of fibre, both soluble and insoluble, from grains, fruits and vegetables.

An Integral Health DNA Hair Test not only can identify the epigenetic factors which possibly give rise to cause/causes of an imbalance in the body and the potential for signs and symptoms of disease; it is also able to highlight the nutrient and lifestyle recommendations specific for each unique individual, helping to ensure they are able to achieve optimum health - naturally.
